Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Four – Sadie and The General- Chapter TwentyOne

The following has spoilers for the Stephen King  book 11.22.63 this your one and only warning.

STEPHEN KING 11.22.63

The day that  chnged the world.

What if you could change it back ?
On November 22, 1963, Three shots rang out in Dallas,
President Kennedy died, and the world changed.
If you had the chance to change history, would you?

Would the consequesnces be worth it?

The Book so far – Jake now has two lives one with Sadie who he saved from death because her ex and boyfriend told her the world would end with the Cuban missile crisis, and is still watching Lee and Marina, Who have split up and got back together twice only this time she is pregnant.

  1. It’s now March 2 1963 and the Oswald are now Jake upstairs neighbors and he gets himself a new gun
  2. Back with Sadie Jake thinks he may as well f*** everything and run
  3. Jake hears the Oswald having a happy time for once
  4. Marina meets Ruth Paine
  5. Jake hears want sounds like The very edge of Conspiracy between Oswald and George De Mohrenschildt but at the critical moment something goes wrong with the electronic equipment and Jake hears nothing.
  6. Oswald starts to follow Edwin Walker and Jake follows Oswald
  7. Jake watches Oswald making plans to kill Walker even going so far as to see him set up his Firing position.
  8. Oswald buys a rifle and has his picture taken, But Jake isn’t around to see the photo being taken he’s back in Jodie
  9. In bed with Sadie Jake has a bad dream, it’s still not to late but for want
  10. Jake tells Sadie his real a that on Wednesday he’s going to witness something that will deside what he does next and in the end they will get married
  11. Jake sets up a box at the bank with all the notes and information he has on Oswald and the last few years and hope that one day he will able open it again

Want I Think – Well we are going to end of things now, Jake is being show three ways out of this mess, one just walk away leaving Sadie and try and find her on the other side of time, Just stop in Jodie with Sadie under his real name or put a bullet in Oswald after or before he trys to kill Walker. Now all he really needed to do in the first place would have been build his life with or without Sadie and one dark night end Oswald, simple. I know I sound like a broken record here but Jake’s been living in the past a good few year just by being there things change. So make the big changes good ones and the bad changes small.

I am not sure now it will all end I have good few inch thickness of book left, I am not going to rush to finish it or Sneak a head at the next few pages, I am enjoying this book very much I just a little sad that some of time Jake is more a wait and see kind of guy when action is called for.

Well that’s about it for this week, as always thank you for reading and I hope you can join me for the next chapter until then bye for now.

Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Four – Sadie and The General- Chapter Twenty

The following blog has spoilers for the Stephen King  book 11.22.63 this your one and only warning.

The Book so far – Jake has been watching and listening to the LHO household for a good few months now, he watched as Lee beats Marina and how Lee mother controls him, and how Marina is given a job which makes things so much worse, Then the Russian expat start to come around which change things even more they all love Marina and try to get Lee out of the way by doing things for them, In the end with the Combination of all this Lee and Marina separate and the world ends

The beginning of the Cuban missile crisis is a catalyst that Jake uses to call Sadie who is Being manipulated by both the ex husband and new boyfriend into believing she might as well and her own life as the world is going to end very soon itself, Jake is just in time to stop her and even tells her some king truth.

And now the continuation.

  1. Sadie tells Jake about Miz Ellie asking about him and she uses “don’t ask don’t tell”
  2. They are together again much to disperse of Miz Ellie and spend Christmas together
  3. They go to the new year dance and are the stars
  4. Just as the new year comes in Jake feels the JFK shooting
  5. Jake now has two lives one with Sadie and the watching Lee and Marina and that’s all he does watch even when an old woman tells him to call the cops
  6. De Mohrenschildt come for the rest of Marina things and Lee is show up for the Coward he is
  7. A mouth later they are back together.
  8. Jake has a flyer from Lee about a protest for TV show on channel 9 the man talking will Edwin Walker who Lee will try and kill soon
  9. Now all Jake has to is watch and wait to make sure Lee is acting alone, but Marina is pregnant again which isn’t in Al notes

What I think – All Jake has to do is put a bullet in Lee just the same way he did Dunning he even says this at the end of the chapter, all this trying to find out if Lee is working alone is just evil watching Marina move back and forth. But that’s not really want the books about its Jake a man who never really fitted into the 21th century trying to apply those values onto the late 1950-1960 along the way falling in love.

At the start of the book I felt sorry for Jake he was drawn into a dying man’s wish, which he had no control over, but now its Jake being a voyeuristic pain in the backside, doing nothing just passing judgement. Al said stop the killing of JFK, so just do that. Living in the 50/60 he been  changing little bit of history all the time, Dumming, the school play and even Sadie herslf  so why not just go for the big one He changing history whatever happens so one dark night shoot Lee and go back to Sadie. Simple, but no the world will get it own back so there will be no happy ending.

Well that’s about it for this week, as always thank you for reading and I hope you can join me for the next chapter in which I hope Jake does more that sit and watch

Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Four – Sadie and The General- Chapter Eighteen

The following blog has Spoilers for the Stephen King book 11.22.63 this your one and only warning.

The Book so far – Jake leaves the school and Sadie and now has been living in the small house waiting for LHO to turn up being hunted by want will happen to Sadie, even going so far to the airport early to watch her go “home” so she get Divorce from her husband.

After days later he’s asked to come back and hunted by the word the yellow card man had been yelling at him the first time he came through the hole, he even goes so far to talk dead Al who tells him to keep going.

LHO and family turns up and moves across the street and using the toys he brought he able to hear them talk which soon became habit putting the fake book aside.

And now the continuation

  1. Jake has a telephone line put in and then writes a letter to Sadie
  2. The people are still in the house yet and Jake is unsure that the Oswald’s will really move in
  3. The Oswald’s do move in and Jake using the patched together omnidirectional mic is able hear the landlord take them around the house
  4. On August 10 all the Oswald move in Marine doesn’t say anything
  5. Lee mother comes to visit which Marina hates
  6. When Lee comes home he slaps Marina for letting his mother into the house
  7. Lee’s mother comes back and this time with more toys for the baby girl, Both Lee and Marina tell her no but she doesn’t listen.
  8. The day after Jake watching becomes a habit
  9. A man called Peter Gregory the first link in the chain befriends Lee and Marina, He gives Marina a job the job Lee wanted.
  10. Jake watches as the Oswald’s go out for the day and follows they go to Peter Gregory home which leaves Jake free to buy the living room
  11. Jake puts the bug in but half way he has second thoughts but then goes thorough with it anyway
  12. With bug working Jake is able to hear Lee and Marina and some poor kid trying to sell magazines
  13. Sadie calls
  14. She tells him she’s meet someone but it’s not the same and the guy has information on JFK making Cuba a flashpoint
  15. Jake makes a call himself and in short is told come see her for yourself
  16. Jake has the number for a new apartment

What I think –  This chapter is sad, Jake is trying to keep everything going and failing. sure he real job if can call it that it to stop LHO killing JFK and the years leading up to this so have been all a lie. But he knows were LHO is going to be and when all he has to do is cross paths with him a few hours early that and put a bullet in him. The whole thing about trying to find if his working with someone is just well sad. Watching and waiting as LHO beats the hell out of Marina who just want to Integrate herself into American Society, is just heart braking when he could just be helping Sadie.

And that’s another thing all he’s doing is making her life hard, it not like saving the woman in the wheelchair or killing a murderer he knew the out come would be a happy one, Here he holding someone in a lie to make himself feel better about what he’s going to do.

There will no happy ending for Sadie and him there can’t be or unless that’s the point of the whole book, we have been lead to believe Jake is ated to become the yellow card man at the last second, changes his mind and does not stop LHO and some how get Sadie to believe him both living happy every after.

But no I don’t think so this Stephen King after all something evil always happens.

Well that’s your lot for this week as always thanks for reading and I hope you can join me next week for the chapter.

Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Four – Sadie and The General- Chapter Seventeen

The following blog has Spoilers for the Stephen King book 11.22.63 this your one and only warning.

The Book so far – Jake’s happy life as George the school teacher is now falling apart all because Sadie heard he sing a Rolling Stone’s song which will not be heard for the next three years to acts as a Catalyst and she mentions that all his records are false, and as they fight Jake makes the link between her Dunning. But he’s able to set up a lamp in the home that LHO will soon live in.

And now the continuation

  1. Jake is found out because the school system has no medical records for him he then says he leave at the end of the month but would somebody please look after Sadie.
  2. He pays rent on the flop house.
  3.  Jake cleans out his pigeonhole at the end of the school year and finds a letter from Sadie simply saying goodbye.
  4. As he leaves two of the students give him a leaving present and he’s lost for words
  5. So he here in Mercedes Street and there is no going back and no. telling the truth life in Jodie is over
  6. He goes to airport to watch LHO come in but sees Sadie, he about to help her but the magazine he’s reading changes to show Jacqueline Kennedy in her blood stained suit, so he let’s Sadie go.
  7. At first Jake doesn’t see them and thinks some They will never come and in fact he’s in a parallel world but Kennedy survives, But when they do arrive he feels sick.
  8. Jake goes home and Talks out loud to Al (yes still dead) Using his notes as a sounding board, he needs to find out if LHO is working alone.
  9. Jake sets himself up with a pair of binoculars.
  10. One Fourth of July he calls ‘home’ and is told Sadie is now a waitress and will be staying a little longer the whole thing is heartbreaking
  11. At the end of the call Jake is invited to The Diner in Jodie and is shown a photo of Sadie ex and is told he not right in the head
  12. He goes to see the football coach who thanks him for setting a kid straight and a guy who wants to put the team on the radio.
  13. Later he see a billboard with Jim LaDue and the words JIMLA on it
  14. Two days later he goes back to the Electrical shop to buy something called an omnidirectional microphone.

What I think – It’s once again become two books, A race against time for the Lee Harvey Oswald moments trying to stop him from either assassinating the first gentleman of finding out whether he’s working alone for a second Kennedy assassination. And the second trying to save Sadie from her ex with very limited resources, and has become some what of a golden boy in Jodie. I know that he made Deathbed promise to Al to help change the Kennedy assassination but at what cost he has slowly build-up a fabulous Life and helped so many people. Yes I know He’s killed somebody already, And is living a lie, There will no happy ending for Jake either he will end up dead trying to stop Oswald or he will go insane and become the yellow card man.

Well that’s what I think anyway now I have seen the people around him Sadie and the rest of the teaching staff and many of the pupils it’s a very poor showing if they end up having bad lives just to make dramatic effect, There has been so much death and destruction already in this book and it’s quite a lot more to come I’m guessing but to touch innocent people it just seems a bit wrong.

Well that’s your chapter for this week, as always if you have done thanks for reading and I hope you can join me next week for the next one,

Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Four – Sadie and The General- Chapter Fifteen

The following blog has Spoilers for the Stephen King book 11.22.63 this your one and only warning.

STEPHEN KING -11.22.63

The day that changed the world.

What if you could change it back ?
On November 22, 1963, Three shots rang out in Dallas,
President Kennedy died, and the world changed.
If you had the chance to change history, would you?

Would the consequesnces be worth it?

The book so far – Still under his pseudonym Jake still teaches at the high school and starts a relationship with Sadie another teacher there’s chaperone the dance and I put on a memorial service for the teacher that introduced them at the end of the dance the end up back at her house but said sadie does not want to take it any further at that point Until a few hours later when she rings up.

And now the continuation

  1. Jake goes to towns over and bring the things Sadie ask him, then he waits and she comes to his house
  2. The go to bed and she feel for the first time
  3. She talks about her past marriage but only for a short time today she only wants to feel the fizz her word for the feeling.
  4. They lay in bed together but all to soon its time for Jake/George to leave he feels bad he has to lie and doesn’t want to think about what the future will hold but for now he and Sadie are happy and long May that continue.
  5. On the ride home he thinks about the fact that he’s not even born yet and he’s been trying to prevent a child coming into this world as well.
  6. Jake goes and picks up Listening device from his friend in Dallas.
  7. Back at the school Sadie sends him a note
  8. Over the fall (Autumn time) they enjoy their time together but are careful to make sure nobody sees them or do anything that will draw attention to themselves.
  9. The Old principal of the school comes back to talk to George/Jake And tells him about a discrete place that he knows also the fact that he knows the second reference, Jake gave was fake but No she’s not going to tell anybody but he needs to clean to Sadie
  10. They go to the place and tell each other they are in love
  11. Sadie talks about her marriage and about her ex who has a very severe case of OCD and you use a broom to separate them from touching when in bed.
  12.  Jake has a nightmare about Sadie ex and the yellow card man
  13. Sadie wakes Jake from the nightmare and as they try Make sense of it one of the gentleman that run the retreatCome knocking on the door with a message about one of the students who Has been killed in a car crash it’s the student that Jake helped last year
  14. At the funeral of Jake start to think, Maybe it’s the Butterfly Effect kicking in if he’d come to Jodie, but gradually it slowly Dons on you Jodie is his home not just a place where he’s hiding out.
  15. Finally in the winter of 1961 Jake gets a call from the woman in Dallas saying she’s on her way out of the boarding house Jake says he will give her more money if she meet him.
  16. Jake gives her the money for the information and his old coat she then tells him a story about her little seeing a monster she calls a jimla.
  17. Once again back home Sadie calls about the staff Christmas party and then asks Jake where he’s been he lies of course well said most of the truth says he’s been shopping, There is a cold feeling he gets and they both hang up but something has changed slightly he knows he can’t tell the whole truth and is now wondering what he can actually tell her in the end.

What I Think – This chapter was a bit of a pain to read not because the language or the set-up for the situation because it starts off with Jake making a happy life a happy time for himself and Sadie but further we get into the chapter things start going slightly south and we know at some point he has got to tell the truth but he’s built his happy life on a lie.

Then the death of the young gentleman in the drama class happens which is almost the catalyst to everything else the bad dreams and this repeated phrase whichs he keeps hearing, now we’re getting into the countdown to 1963 and, the real reason he has come back I have no idea what how it will all end and How many people would be broken by.

Well that’s your lot for this week, And as always if you have been thank you for reading so I hope you can join me next week for the next chapter as we continue our adventure through this book.

Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Four – Sadie and The General- Chapter Fourteen

The following blog has Spoilers for the Stephen King  book11.22.63 this your one and only warning.

The Book So Far – Jake finally decides to settle in Dallas the year is is now 1961 he has been teaching at a school just outside of Dallas he has become the de facto drama teacher in a little town called Jodie thanks to the guiding hand of a woman named mimi who eventually works out that his name is not George. He helps a young football player overcome his shyness by taking a role in the school’s presentation of Of Mice and Men later that same year the woman that helped him get the job marries and introduces in to a woman called Sadie. Mimi Passes away later on at the end of the year and George/Jake with the help of Sadie plan a memorial service. However all the time he is thinking about the notes Al made and where abouts Lee Harvey Oswald is expected to be.

    And now the continuation.

    1. Jake and Sadie put the memorial and both children and staff cry, and he picks Twelve Angry Men for the school play calling it the The Jury so he can cast girls to.
    2. He goes back to Dallas and buys bugging unit which fits in the base of lamp
    3. With the map and notes Al made Jake finds one of the homes LHO  will live in a few months times he them gives the people some money to tell him when they move out. At home he finds a note from Sadie.
    4. The note turns out to be a request for him to chaperone the school dance.
    5. The school is in full swing and Jake Takes a walk outside to stop any underage drinking he finds a few of the kids he knows and while he tells them off for drinking he says our school, Which suddenly makes you feel as if he belongs there and that he will never go back to 2011
    6. Jake and Sadie dance much to the Pleasure and amusement to the kids in the hall
    7. They drive back to Sadie’s home and they kiss but Sadie gets Scared because she has never moved beyond that.
    8. When he gets home phone is ringing and it’s Sadie they make plans, She tells him that she has to get a residency divorce from her estranged husband so she will have to get a summer job, In another state. In his head Jake works out were LHO will be and what will happen next to all the actors on his stage.

What I think – So Jake is going to stay at the end of the book, Jake is going to live out the rest of his life out of the 21st century, To be totally honest it doesn’t come as a complete surprise because I have the idea that Jake is in fact the yellow card man, Who has been drinking himself slowly to death. Haunted by what he has done and what he’s about to do the rest of it is all window dressing his reasons for staying and his eventual realisation that he can make a bigger difference here then he could in 2011. The question becomes is exactly how will we find out about if any of the changes he has made will stick onto who he will confess everything to because at some point he’s gonna have a mental breakdown.

Well that’s my thoughts on this chapter anyway so as always if you have been thank you for reading and I hope you will join me next week for the next chapter.

Bookends – Bookreview- 11.22.63 by Stephen King – Part Three – Living In Past – Chapter Thirteen

The Book So Far-  Jake how makes him away across the U.S. first To New Orleans and keeps tabs on Lee Harvey Oswald and his family, Coming across the 1950s and 60s racism, He makes his way eventually to Dallas and in the summer of 1960 tries to get himself a place to live to, but there is something about Dallas he does not like and when he he Witnesses a shooting he makes his mind up And moves on ending up in a small town taking a teaching job.

    And now continuation.

    1. It now May 18 1961, Jake is working on his book when Michael Coslaw comes to see him
    2. The darma department at the school is now being run by Jake  thanks to Mimi Corcoran
    3. Jake talks Micheal into staying on As part of the play Of Mice and Men playing Lenny
    4. The play is an amazing Triumph
    5. Jake Has given mini his manuscript which she reads she then cuts out if anybody publishers it he will never be able to teach again. She then offers him a job as a permanent teacher at school and Quick mental set of notes he has Jake decide to take the job and become a permanent member of staff, and sets him up with a friend of hers
    6. Mimi gets married and Jake/George meets Sadie Clayton
    7. In August the same Mimi died Jake is given the task of Putting together a memorial
    8. Sadie help him put together the memorial and they become friends
    9. Together they go to a football match and during the match the cheerleaders end up shouting the same thing the yellow card man had shouted when Jake had bumped into him the first time.

What I think – So Jake really has got himself into this world has become a working member of society but almost reluctantly first because he can’t find a house in the centre of Dallas so he comes to a place called Jodie. Then he finds a part-time teaching job I was coerced into becoming a full-time member of the teaching staff, by a charismatic older lady who actually runs the school and now he even has his own set of Friends who don’t want anything more than just to be in his company.

Simply put the book has become two stories and man knowing the future but with only parts come back to him. Trying to write a book reflecting on what he has already done and seen.

I have no idea yet what the eventual outcome will be but I do have a feeling that the yellow card man is a will become Jake at some point in the story which is a bit of a shame in a bit of a cop-out.

How is interactions with the people at the school will affect his eventual saving of John F Kennedy and The Killing of Lee Harvey Oswald will play out I have no idea but I look forward to finding out.

So if you have been thank you for reading and I hope you can join me next week for the next chapter as we go deeper into the book.

    2. Sixty miles south of Tampa Jake takes a room and becomes a guy with a rich uncle he even starts to write two books one the book we are reading the other cover all about a murder, he tries to read Al notes but there just become an Obsessive addiction
    3. To make money, Jake puts down a few bets. and by the end knows a man who worked Lee Harvey Oswald uncle
    4. After visiting the library Jake write off for a phony degree and managed to end up having a teaching job where upon he is told off by the school administration for reading Catcher in the Rye.
    5. In July of 1960 Jake heads out of town so the mob guys he’s been betting with don’t come knocking
    6. In New Orleans Jake finds himself standing outside want will be come LHO (Lee Harvey Oswald) home when an old men tells him the place is Haunted
    7. Jake finds he has library book which he needs to returned, so he rings the number of the library and told by the librarian that someone has set fire to his empty house. He tells the librarian he will send the book back.
    8. Sitting outside the School Book Depository in Dallas Jake feels a sense of Menace, Al wanted him to kill LHO before the idea even enter him head but Jake has his plan
    9. Jake keep a light touch on LHO and moves to Dallas and hates the place
    10. Jake finds a place to live but the landlord is a racist
    11. Walking around the town Jake is witness to a shoting a patron shots a young woman for calling in a few rude names then shoots himself

    15. Three hours later Jake has a five room shotgun house in the town called Jodie
    16. Later that some evening with Principle Simmons and Miss Corcoran the latter asking all If not most of the questions. She asks even about The Catcher in the Rye book to which Jake replies it should be in library but only given to certain students at the librarians discretion.
    17. In need of money Jake makes one last bet which turns out to be a mistake.
    18. When he goes to collect his winning he’s asked for his ID and address which makes him nervous.
    19. Jake’s narrative jumps forward in time to 1960 Jake Witnesses an argument between Oswald’s mother and his older brother Robert and her insistence that Robert get me to call her when he can and his brother pointing out that he is now a communist.

What I think – Jake seems to have settled down quite a lot of bounce around In the physical world and his own narrative it’s quite a lot of detail like before but it also doesn’t repeat itself it doesn’t tell you things That are commonly known history but it also doesn’t fill in all the blanks it just keeps going back to the notes that Al made for Jake.

It also seems to not gloss over it but not make the racism and the hatred to obvious which is actually what somebody would do if you were from back into the late 50s early 60s you would want to distance yourself very much from it. but I don’t really get the need for needless shooting of the woman in the ally. Jake says that he’s not good to stay with the racist and it doesn’t suit him still hasn’t really no need to run home the point.

We also have Jake constantly looking over his shoulder having now taking a teaching job making sure that they don’t find his references are funny and then he makes a big mistake by trying to put another bet down one last time. What the outcome will be and how it will affect the Lee Harvey Oswald mission he is now and I have no idea and the fact that we are once again bouncing around the timelines those show a sort of restless feeling.

As always thank you for reading, and I hope enjoyed my look at the chapter from this book and that you can join me next week for the next chapter as we work our way through Stephen King 11 22 63.

The day that changed the world.

If you had the chance to change history, would you?

Would the consequesnces be worth it?

The Book So Far – Jake make the trip back in the 1950’s This time however he doesn’t change the timeline he keeps his head down and for several months does nothing but pretend to be the real estate man he once was. He takes time and works out where Dunning will be and one fateful night when Dunning is going to the graveyard to see his dead parents Jake shoots him dead and puts his body in a mausoleum, he write a letter to the gentleman helped him out before to tell him to go to the doctor’s and then drives out the Derby so good.

And now for the continuation (Unlike the other chapters so this is not split into numbered parts) five pages

As he drives Jake starts to think about Al Experiment with the girl that would end up in a wheelchair in the end he decides to take the same path and is the same cabin and wait there till October, Jake then finds that Cullum plays cribbage and after lot of Persuading Cullum teaches Jake how to play. When they have finished the game Cullum’s wife thinks that Jake has been sent by God and Jake does nothing to change that idea.

What I think – It’s the second time Jake has been called a angel, I just hope this time it’s sticks and that changes made a happy ones, So it’s very odd having such a short chapter but he does do two things it keeps the fact that Al set out to help somebody alive and shows what Jack does with his time hiding in the woods and the areas that I told him about so not to affect the timeline too much. I don’t know how much of the 1950s Jake will tell as about as we have got to get our way to 1963 but I suppose it will be fun finding out.

As always thank you for Reading, And I hope you can join me for the next chapters.

Would the consequesnces be worth it?

The Book So Far – Jake returns to 2011 to find out that out is still there just as the same as he left, And they both try and find out what happened to Harry but I’m not able to see him on the custodial pictures of the high school Jake later finds out with all the changes that have been made to Harry’s life they didn’t work out very well in that Harry died fighting in Vietnam he, finds this out by talking to Harry’s sister, Extremely upset Jake manages to pull himself back together to go and see Al one last time before he steps though the hole again, but Al has taken sleeping pills to end his pain so Jake has no other option but to go in once again on his own when he gets to the 1950s it turns out that the yellow card man has taken his own life too.

    And now the continuation –

    1. Jake walks through the town this time, the only stop he makes is to touch the car on On the forecourt for good luck you then heads across to get a bus at the bus station and once aboard as the bus goes along route 196, he start thinking about the yellow card man and the fact that the card he now carries is not cardboard or plastic pot even say love it feels like dead skin. How Al idea the man was somehow caught Between Worlds because of the rabbit hole doesn’t add up but sooner forget and move on and realises it’s good to be back.
    2. Jake buys himself a suitcase, and is told about the suicide of the dunk and then buys the same shirt he’s wearing.
    3. Jake goes back to his old/new apartment at Harris Avenue, He makes a habit of droping into the Lamplighter. he even makes friends with Jeff the bartender betting with him on Yankees baseball team
    4. The day after he goes under ground bookies and puts down a bet.
    5. Over the following months Jake builds a life for himself just had before but keeps one eye on the baseball game, waiting for Frank Dunning.
    6. Jake wants to keep the timeline Protected more this time he knows were Frank will be he doesn’t have to ask he just knows on the 5th of October 1958.
    7. He knows he’s done his best and even if God doesn’t
    8. On the day there was no flu this time but Jake wakes up with a migraine falls down stairs and his car won’t start so he calls a mechanic.
    9. Mechanic comes.and fixings the car also has some advice for Jake to go back to bed.
    10. Because of the headache Jake drives the car quite slowly down route 7 checking each intersection as he does and is lucky not to be hit by the gravel truck on old Derby Road, Jake find a place to rest and weights for Dunning eventually headache disappears
    11. As Dunning walks through the graveyard Jake makes him turn and shoots twice
    12. Jake put Dunning into the mausoleum and walks away.
    13. Jake goes to collect his winnings to the baseball games and is told Dunning wasn’t the Saint the papers making out to be.
    14. Jake’s Drive wants to push him to go and see the Dunning family not Harry this time but his kids sister to tell her to talk her brother out of putting uniform on one day.
    15. Jake has one last thing to do before leaving Darby he writes a letter to give to Bill Turcotte
    16. Then he leaves.

What I think – Well Jake’s second life in 1950s America has started again and thankfully it wasn’t like Groundhog Day repeating over and over again the same things, But what I do have a problem with is every time Jake tries to change something that is a life and death situation obstacle put in the way each time they get Dumber and Dumber like the last of the keys and the fact that he has two flat tires I do hope that it doesn’t turn out to be that Jake was the yellow card man all along.

Aa always thank you for reading, and I hope you can join me for the next chapter.
