“Let Each Man Be Paid In Full.”

Now, I grant you this is an odd gathering, my ideas don’t always come across fully formed or very straight forward, but here I am once again to wring your consciences, and to call you into action, for it is time to put away our hate. Now we must put down our weapons. We have passed through the nights and days of fire, and we must show some kind of humanity even to those who can’t,
We cut down each other with guns and bombs the mad men on both sides hot to kill calling it duty, passion, patriotism even morality, Don’t brush this from your mid and say well I am not a victim of this mess, but I know there are some here with ties of blood and some who have memories of each war that had been and that be yet to come.
Nothing was ever solved by guns and nothing every will be

Every time that I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face getting clearer
The past is gone
It went by, like dusk to dawn
Isn’t that the way
Everybody’s got their dues in life to pay

Yeah, I know nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know it’s everybody’s sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life
Is in books’ written pages
Lived and learned from fools and
From sages
You know it’s true
All the things come back to you
